Know how you feel, though I haven't as yet been banned. But I have exerienced very much the deal in e-mail support groups---sometimes you get a reply or lots of 'em and sometimes nothing. It can be so awful pouring out a problem and then no one replies.
I am thickerskinned now coz I know for sure I don't always have an answer or even feel up to communicating with someone. This group is made up of people with some need of support, so I reckon sometimes it happens that people are just not well enough to reply, or lack computer access, or feel unqualified to say anything, or many other things. It's vital to make groups like this only one ****small****part of recovery.
There's just too much that can go wrong in e-mail land, such as how hard it can be to hear the tone of some posts correctly. Someone may sound sarcastic, but they're not, someone may be happily ironic, or all sorts of things, and one way or another, people feel hurt and outraged. It happens so much. Relying on such an unreliable support is not a good idea, I think we need real life professionals and friends, etc.
Then a group like this can be interesting and helpful and truly good for us. This group seems to be one of the safest and most creative I've come across. I don't by any means check here daily--I go in phases---but I do actually respect this group as a source of real help. I hope you stay, but do whatever you feel is right. Best wishes.
