> I saw my pdoc yesterday and he increased my Lexapro from 20mg to 40mg. I was wondering if the increase takes time to become effective (like when you initially start an antidepressant 4-6 weeks). Or should I expect results (if any) quicker since I am already on the med. Any info or insight would be greatfully appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It's been a few months since I went from 20 to 30mg. Unlike the other responders, I do not recall having any problems, I just felt relief from being crabby and upset. Hopefully your trasition will be a smooth one also.~~~8|8
