I am agonizingly waiting for a second series of ECT (Dr. is very busy)IT WORKS! the downside is that the relapse rate can be quite high-however when I have it done again I am going to ask the dr. if ect maintenence is an option---also it is about 99.9% less invasive than any brain surgery (IMHO) ! It is the most effective AD known! (next to maois' or death :^ ) !
