Aricept? Or is that the trade name for donepezil? If so then it's probably tacrine (?). Would you mind describing some of the details of your trial with donepezil? E.g., how long on it, what it helped and how much (particularly in regard to cognitive functioning), what it aggravated and how much, and whether you think it was worth it or not.
Galantamine is supposed to (i realize that doesn't guarantee anything by any means) be more effective and especially have less severe side effects than the other cholinergics. What's why i'm particularly interested in that. Unfortunately it costs an arm a leg and three toes.
