I do not find Strattera anxiogenic, it is quite neutral in this regard. I think you will find fewer reports of Strattera causing anxiety than Wellbutrin, as it is a purer norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, and in fact probably most resembles desipramine, a tricyclic with antipanic, but no pronounced antianxiety, efficacy. Some people have had anxiolytic effects from Strattera, but all it's done for me is to clear my mind enough to realize what anxiety is doing to me, but not relieve it. I have been on strattera for nearly a year, and it has made a notable improvement in my ADD symptoms. It also has an antidepressant effect (again, similar to desipramine). It might work for GAD, which I consider a milder syndrome than social anxiety or panic disorder.
