Effexor XR and non- xr? why diff. max dose?

Posted by jerimycoplo on May 1, 2004, at 17:05:52

I was noticing that the Effexor Xr recommended max dose is 225 per day and the normal effexor is 375. Is there a reason for that? Is the 225 XR dose somehow similar in effects on your brain as the 375 of the non-xr effexor?

regards
jc
