What is the average does of Geodon for depression?

I have been started on 40 mgs of Geodon at bedtime. What is the usual effective dose? Isn't it recommended you take it twice per day?
(I also take 300mg effexor, 45 remeron, 60 mg buspar, 1mg klonopin.) Thanks.
