Keppra did help eliminate the generalized rebound anxiety of quitting klonopin, which is a good attribute of this compound. It did not eliminate my social phobia, however, and that was the reason it was prescribed to me. Studies bear out Keppra's anti-kindling effect. Currently, my regimen consists of klonopin (.5mg x 2) and adrafinil (300mg x 2). My next move is to add duloxetine (serotonergic and noradrenergic) if and when it becomes available.
