why is wellbutrin more prone to cause siezures?

Posted by 1980Monroe on April 8, 2004, at 16:30:02

I take 450mg of Wellbutrin XL daily. But one time i took 600mg which i know i wasnt suppost too, because i really was in a pit.

I think it gave me a minor siezure. Got much disorientation, tingling feeling (kind of a numb wave), and felt incredibly ABnormal. I had to stay extremly calm, if i didnt this crunching feeling wound clench up my neck and it felt like a electric shock.

I took some valium, and i took a while too do anything, but finally it went away. I didnt want to go to the hostpital because it was humiliating.

I know i definitly should not have take more than my dose, but it was just barely more than what i usally take (450mg). Does any one know why it's more siezure prone? Thanks
