Celexa to Zoloft to mood stabilizers? Recommend

After being on Celexa and having hypomania for 1.5 years, I was switched to zoloft 150 mg for eight weeks and now have a major depression. My pdoc says I have to taper off of zoloft before going on a mood stabilizer. I cut down to 100 mg for one week and now to 50 for one week.

Please help on a recommendation please.
