Hello,
About 4 months ago I quit a small dose of effexor cold turkey after only tapering a bit. The withdrawal itself created emotional and physical problems unlike any I've ever experienced in my life. Compounded by major life changes, it has been months of absolute hell. Because of this, I am possibly thinking that I will have to go back on some kind off SSRI to rebalance things for a couple months and then taper off very slowly over a very long time (I don't typically have such severe anxiety problems so I have to believe this is medicinal). I need insight though... What antidepressants are easier to taper off of than effexor that are simple and effective for anxiety problems? I hear Prozac is easist to taper off of, but that it's not good for anxiety. Something I've ntoiced is that if you don't don't taper off correctly, you create a WORLD of trouble for yourself!
