I took EffexorXR and it worked well at first. Then I started losing weight....down 38 lbs and I looked like a skeleton. Could not get my doctor to take me off of it, so my pharacist suggested that I taper off of it. I had the electric shocks, headache, nauseau, chills, etc. but could tell within 24 hours that my head was clearing. I had begun to feel as though my head was full of rocks that were moving around....really!!! It was HORRIBLE> I warn anyone who mentions Effexor that it is a very strong and scary drug....
