hey libjennifer, I have taken lex before but not w/ adderall. I have taken wellbutrin also and it caused me significant jittery feelings so I quit it.. The adderall was great but I tended to take more than prescribed-- I also do not have a heart murmer, but I can tell you that 5mg of adderall is very low dose and your doc probably feels comfortable in prescribing this to you based on your age and body weight etc. Generally adderall is one of the smoothest stims / amphetamines on the market. If it does cause you any problems that are very disturbing to you just call your doc- the good news is that adderall (not adderall XR) has a pretty limited half life so I would bet you will be fine and no I don't think you'll die!! I know it is scary to think about that-given your heart condition -so if it does cause any problems you can D/C it quickly and you and your doc can find a more effective remedy!
Good Luck
