Aww bless you, mine came out of the blue too 3 years ago.. what have u been suffering with before hand? depression by any chance? sure i seen you here before talking about depression..
mine started with mild depression and i was taking effexor for it, then anxiety hit me when i was at a rave??--scarey shit man!!
I have tryed many ssri's all sent me manic and raised my bp(blood preasure) and hr (hrt rate).. tryed trylics i kept getting panick reactions to them and i tryed snri's again such as reboxatine same thing happened to me as when i was taking ssri's... might be different for you though..
In my undertsnading when ppl got anxiety they get anxious and panicky and cant calm down hence why valuim is good.. but the uk is trying to ban valuim alprozam etc (physciatrist told me today)because of all the addictions and suicidal tendancy's .. they are only supposed to be used when you are in hospital if needed (last resort like) .. ANyways ppl with anxiety cant calm down right so sedating meds are the best in my opinion and what i was told from the physc today... such as mirtazipan(zispin, remeron) and antiphsycotics... sometimes ppl get on with ssri's depending on how you are with them.. they may beable to help you..
Dont let the side affect of weright gain on mirtazipan put you off .. whats gaining weight if its gonna help you mentally.. ??just ease of on the carbs ( i am doing atkins, and have no problem loosing weight) give mirtazipan a shot start at 15mg.. (lower the dose the more sedating it is) then taper up IF NEEDED i stayed at 15mg for 6 mnths i am now at 30 mg have been for a year now.. It does tend to poop out but i miss a few days then start it bk again so i can tell how it is helping me..
Physc just gave me another med to start taking as an as needed basis... i couldnt understand her writing and i havent got my prescription yet, will get it later and i will come o nthe boards asking for opinions anyways..
