However, I have come to the conclusion that I would rather have 20 good years being happy than 40 years being miserable if that is the case. I think it is a quality of life issue. Go with your gut, do what feels right for YOU.

Sorry, it's like a compulsion for me. When somebody tells that its quality of life is 8/9 with meds I must ask: what meds are you taking ? : )
