hey all, just wanted to ask everybody and or anybody some ?'s re possible SE's. I do tend to be a bit on the hypochondriac side of things but I just need to know if what I am feeling is SE's of lamictal or undertreated depression and anxiety.
1. I have been on lamictal for 7 weeks-this is my 8th week total and am at 100 mg b.i.d.
2. I also take 1 to 3 mg of K per day
3.10 mg ambien @hs
4 lately 15mg of some remeron to knock me into sleep!
so heres my ?'s
I have heard lamictal is stimulating thus it's anti-depressant effects as well as mood stabilizing properties.
I am curious as to weather these are typical SE's
or depression...muscle and back pain especially in mid back and shoulders > increased anxiety> feeling tired and exhausted but can't really relax and sleep during day (could be just my gad)
also have heavy pressure in chest and back -very uncomfortable and some shortness of breath. I do NOT have the rash Thank God and I think I am realizing some benefits of lam but just am wondering if the jump from 100 to 200 mg was too high for me and I might be a responder at lower dose like 150mg. I have put in a call to my pdoc's nurse and she has not gotten back to me yet- I complained of muscle aches and pains 2 weeks ago to his nurse and he did'nt think it was from lamictal. I have been trying to exercize but nothing too heavy ...just walking-nothing like weight lifting or anything like that.any how I know these are a lot of questions and anything is possible with all these crazy meds! could someone please help me out and give me some feed back. thanks for any and all responses..
