Jlynne,
I just wrote you a long message and the computer erased it... ughh. Here I go again.
I am assuming you are on your period and that is making things a lot worse. Here is how it was for me.
Period one: lots of tears, felt like someone was doing a bad job of rewiring my brain. I would be and content then a second miniute I would be in tears, then picking a fight with my poor boyfriend (over and over again). I mean it was TERRIBLE.
Period two: Moody, two major crying spells for no reason, one fight with boyfriend, much better than first but still pretty bad.
One and two were on 10mg.
Period 3: On 20mg. Much better, no fights, no crying spells, actually teared up at a stupid commercial but was able to laugh at myself. Also had a few bad things happen during PMS and handled it OK. Much, much, much better. I have heard that each month gets better.
Also you are only on week 7, most people, Mrs C, LynneDA effects till week 8 and 9.
Getting better is SUCH a process, it is so hard to be paitent when you are sick. I cannot tell you that lexapro is the drug for you, however I can tell you for a while I thought it was not helping me. I gave it a chance and am so glad I did. Good luck and God Bless. Please feel free to ask any questions!
Lexy
