I talked to my internist today. He thinks the lithium triggered circulatory problems because I have chronic fatigue syndrome. (He says most endocrinologists don't understand CFS.) I'll be seeing him on Friday.
I also saw my psychiatrist and got the thyroid test results. The thyroid hormones T3 and T4 are abnormal, but the TSH is normal.
So I'll have a lithium level test on Friday, maybe more thyroid testing, and the two docs will talk. I think the lithium is doing me some good and I don't want to stop taking it.
Katia, what kind of thyroid testing did you have?
