it is possible to have your dr. prescribe just 1 150 cap of effexor xr and that may reduce the cost of your copay -- the reason for this is that often times pharmacies often don't pay more for the meds from the supplier from 1 strength cap to the higher (it is a tricky game but after 14 years of buying meds I have seen this quite often be the case) and it is likely that you are being charged "double" the co-pay for double the amt of pills. Unless your dr does'nt have any problem w/you taking the med just 1 time a day vs. twice
I would ask the pharmacy about the cost of (30) 150 caps vs. (60) 75mg caps. As a side note sometimes pdocs will prescribe meds this way in order to minimize side effects!
