I have been taking Provigil for over a year to combat fatigue brought on by the use of high doses of Oxycontin and Oxycodone. I have 5 crushed neck vertibrae that are in-operable so large doses of Oxycodone are the only way I am able to function.Provigil is a godsend. Everything one reads about its virtues are true.
Wakefulness without any amphetamine problems with sleep coming easily when one wants are Provigil’s greatest benefit.
My liver enzymes have always been one point above the top normal (25). Other than not being able to obtain life insurance, there have been no adverse effects on liver enzymes from using Provigil.
The insurance companies do not authorize Provigil’s use for anything other than narcolesy so a month’s supply, 60 200 mg. tablets, cost USD 275.00.
I cannot say enough about the wonderful life-enhancing effects Provigil provides. All humans should take this substance not only to increase one’s alertness but to avail themselves of the sharpness of mind this medication provides.
