Wellbutrin XL side effects

I've been having lots of headaches, nausea, insomnia at night, difficulty staying awake during the day, significant sweating and my mouth gets extremely dry at times. I know these are all common side effects with Wellbutrin, but will these go away after I've been taking it for a while? Also, are these side effects an indication that it could cause a seizure in me or are they to be expected?

This could mean that more drug or metabolites are in your bloodstream in higher concnetration or more metabolites of the drug are in your bloodstream longer.

The most susceptible people to WB seizures i think are people who are epileptic or who have a seizure history and people who take too much wellbutrin. Also, if in combination with other drugs that can lower the seizure threshold, a seizure can occur.

Dry mouth, headaches, and difficulty staying awake were not my side effects either. Naturally, the insomnia and difficulty staying awake could be cause and effect respectively.

The only other medicine I take are inhalers for asthma and occasional Flexeril. You're right; the insomnia is probably causing the sleepiness in the daytime.

I really would like to know if the profuse sweating will eventually go away. If there's a chance it will, I don't want to give up on the Wellbutrin yet.

I tried Lexapro for four months and the side effects never went away, but I did gain 30 pounds. My doctor says Wellbutrin may cause weight loss, probably not gain. Do you think my body will adjust and the sweating will stop, or will that always occur while I'm taking it?
