Not all bipolars have *true* manias, hence the BP II label and Atypical BP as well as others...
I take 100mg of Seroquel each night for mood stabilization and sleep. The sleep is great. Instead of waking 3-4 times during the night, I now wake once. I don't have the disturbing dreams that I had on Trazadone.
The sleep is a side effect due to the sedation, ehnce the reason why I take the Seroquel at night and not in the morning.... You're right about the 'fine line'.

My PD has suspected I may be bipolar, but I never truly have mania, unless mania can be manifested by irritability and poor sleep. I could also be ADHD. But the differance between ADHD, GAD and BP II can be a fine line. What dose Seroquel do you take and does it help with sleep?
