When the anxiety returns after a week or two... could it be because the clonazepam left your system and you need more to feel well, as your body is used to it and Klonopin has a long half-life?
Before, I was on Effexor too and I was anxiety and depression free. I stopped it because of sexual dysfunction. Now, I am taking Ritalin and Klonopin. I don't feel as good as with Effexor, but I am much better!
