It's possible that Klonopin is exacerbating the depression. I've met many people on PB who do very well on Klonopin, but I do get depressed from it and from that class of drugs in general (the benzodiazapenes). About 10 years ago, I had some medication-induced panic attacks and I found Klonopin very helpful for that problem, and much better than Xanax, which can be more addictive than Klonopin because Xanax is much shorter acting. One problem with the benzodiazapenes is that they can disrupt critical stages of sleep and they can impair learning and memory, but as I said earlier, some people do well on them. If you do have to take Klonopin, I'd try to keep the dose as low as possible, but speak with your doctor first.
