> I have been extremely tired during the day.I take 10mg of lexapro in the morning.I have been taking it since august.i drank alot the past weekend.it is now wednesday, could it be the lexapro is building back up into my blood?Thats why i feel so tired?

Yeah, I think the levels build for a few days and then you reach what they call a "steady state" where the blood levels still fluctuate somewhat but stay within a therapeutic window.

"With once daily dosing, steady state plasma concentrations are achieved within approximately one week," http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/lexapro_cp.htm

But you've been taking it since August. I think that if it's been more than a week since your last dose increase, your blood levels should be steady. What did you mean by levels "building *back* up"? Had you quit taking it for a while, or were you thinking that the booze lowered your blood levels and that they were now going back up? I'm not sure what booze does to SSRI blood levels, but I do know that I've had some bizzare hangovers on SSRIs. Hangovers that I didn't think I was going to live through. I just felt *SO* sick.
