> Hi guys, thanks for all your posts, and sharing with me your experiences, I've not had access to the net for very long, if I ever tried anything new before I just got on with it, but I have found this to be soooo helpful, thanks again.

> Was very reluctant to take another zispin (remeron) and pondered for hours over it afer reading through all your posts, the big dilemma being, not so much whether to take any more, but what dosage, as so many of you had conflicting experiences of each dosage.

> My GP's advice was to try 15mg, others were to try 45mg or more, I think my decision to try 15mg came down to my brain being taught over many years that when you have more of something, you experience the effects more, I don't think I could get my head around the take more, feel less thing!!!!!
>
> Anyway, I was prepared to be open-minded, and to experiment, if 15 was no good, I would try 45. I've started this now, and to give up without trying would mean I'd always be wondering. With so many people having such varying experiences I was a little curious as to what it could to for/to me.

A couple of times I wanted to get up, but it felt like quite an effort, staying there and enjoying the nice feeling was a much better option. Nose a bit stuffy unusually, but not too bad.

Starting at 30mg or 45mg reduces the drowsiness & appetitie side effects. Some people can handle it, some can't. I originally started at 15mg because I only wanted to use it as a sleeping tablet. I had extreme irritability when increasing from 15mg to 30mg, takes about a week to subside. It's caused by the increase in Noradrenaline activity. When you increase I would recommend breaking the pills into quarters & taking 22.5mg for a week. Increased appetite is caused by Anti-Histamine activity & may or may not subside.

Cheers,
Panda.
