Hmm...I don't think this petition was prepared by lawyers~at least there is nothing in the text of the page that mentions anything other than the fact that they are requesting full disclosure of the withdrawl effects to be made available to the public, so that consumers may have all of the information they need to decided benefit vs cost in the long run.
I saw a signature that included information on a class action suit that someone was attempting to put together (the mother of a 19 yr old whose kidneys were trashed~ allegedley by Effexor use). But, this is the only mention of possible legal action that I saw on the site.
I'm not even sure if a mere 4,000 signatures on an online petition will spur the manufacturer to be more responsible in their representation of the drug they peddle~but I hope it does.
