My understanding is that after a certain point, maybe 1000mg, you don't get any better response from Neurontin. I think it lasts for about 4 hours, which is why you have to split the dose. Check the pharmacokinetics.

Several people have gotten good results. I haven't been able to taper up to any kind of effective dose. It's too sedating. I'm hoping that if Marplan works, I can try it again, Right now I just want to stay in bed all day.
