The real thing is a six sided, shield shaped pill, with a flat top, bottom and sides. It has a grove from top to bottom on one side to make splitting easier. The word Lamictal and the dose is on the other side of my 100mg pills. I can't remember about the 25's but I think they were pretty much miniturtes of the 100's. Its bitter. The 25mgs are white and almost as big as children's asprin. The 100mgs are orange-yellow and about as big as real asprin, give or take. I only know of those two sizes. Does it say Lamictal on it? Your symptoms are not unlike what you might experience starting Lamictal but that doesn't tell you much. I did not feel any relief from my emotional pain until about 100-125mgs. I am at 200 for over a year now. I hope you're getting the real thing.
