The only reason people think that Buspar is ineffective is when they have already tried many benzodiazepines, which do usually work immediately. Unfortunately, Buspar does not work immediately. It takes at least 2-4 to start feeling the effects of the medication. Busapr is not a placebo, people just give up on it because they do not see an immediate response to it. Ive been on many benzos myself, and I find Buspar works great for me, so it that placebo??
