Effexor free, five days now. Cold turkey method, truly a nightmarish path. Please share your experience. The knowledge of approximately HOW LONG withdrawl effects last would prove supportive. 300mg of Effexor SR for six years. It proved helpful getting me through the first 6 years of my twin girl's life, however I want to remember what it feels like to be me, without meds. Been on Prozac, Wellbutrim and Effexor since age 20. The "edge" was taken off slightly with children's benadryl. Brain vibrations, vertigo, frightening, hopeless vivid dreams, sensation of tremors, hearing loud repeating noises in silence, weeping, feeling scared as though not in the present, heightened sexual response, can't sleep, can't awake. I must add a side of laughter I find myself enjoying...more genuine, carefree. This sight has provided great support as even the most understanding compassionate person, could not possibly understand "this" without living it. Thank you!
