I have read information on lexapro's site stating it has less se than celexa. I have also read posts on this site that have said lexapro's claim is untrue, and that lexapro is only being made because of celexa's patent running out, and a desire to make money off a new patent.
Hmmmm....
I used to take zoloft for years and LOVED it, except for the crippling fatigue that came with it. I switched to wellbutrin. The fatigue has disappeared (yay!) but I still experience pockets of time everyday where I feel painfully depressed. Nowhere as bad as when I'm not on any medicine at all, but... If I could return to my zoloft selft sans fatigue, I would be set.
My doctor just prescribed celexa, in addition to the wellbutrin. I took it for six days and was tired as hell and had no sexual appetitie. Ugh. I stopped taking it because my fiance was visiting. He's left again, and I'm thinking of taking it again, in hopes that the se will wear off. But now I'm wondering if I should just take lexapro instead. Sigh.
I know the se's are change from individual to individual, but... does anyone have any idea about whether I should try one before I try the other?
Thanks!
