Rainee:
I'm no doctor, I don't even play one on TV, but have you taken a quiz for bipolar? Click over to this link and see if it helps:

The problem is, you may be taking the wrong medication for the way your brain is *wired*, and getting unsatisfactory results in return.
Wellbutrin is more often prescribed for ADHD, not as much for depression. It can make one irritable and hyper as part of the way it works, by activating the mind. If you're experiencing lethargy, it's not working.
Effexor is NOT an SSRI, perhaps you should look into it. It has worked for many people, including me. Please talk to you mental health professional about your options. If your quiz is positive, show them the results. That's what I'm going to do next week...
Kindest Regards,
Tony
> been on all SSRIS the only time I felt good was the intial prozac the first SSRI I felt eupohoric and great for the first time in my life. But that gave way to lethargy, depression and weight gain .
> now years later I have been on wellbutrin for monthe 300 mg of the SR type .. I'm angry, irritable, depressed.. not working.
> I tak klonopin for anxiety also.
> any suggestions as to what the hell is wrong with me?
