Hello, I have been taking xanax xr 2 mg daily for over a year. I also take effexor. Just about a week ago, my pdoc added 25mg of lamictal- I really dont feel that energy you described. But maybe thats because of the xanax in my system. Also, if you are depressed you may need to add some kind of AD drug to your combo, because the xanax can actually bring you down (mentally) even though its great with the anxiety
