Hi Kathy:
I have a question for you:First of all, I am switching doctors because mine fails to listen to me. When I mention that I observe opinions of meds on the internet, he turns his eyes like that is a bad thing to do. He rarely listens to me and thinks I am crazy because I know too much about side effects, different drugs on the market, and what other people are saying on the internet.
Also, I stopped taking Geodon and I am less tired. My doc said that I am commiting "weapons of mass destruction" by experimenting in my own little laboratory.....I felt so frustrated when he said this.
Also, I take Ativan everyday. I told him that I need more than 1 pill per day, but he wont allow it....is this crazy? I end up using two per day alot and then I am short at the end of the month and he wont give me anymore. Again, he thinks I dont know what I am doing. I then have to wait to get the refill, which is only filled after a certain time period...meaning i cant fill two prescriptions in one week.
I started taking Lexapro 10mg at night starting last night. I am now less drowsy than before. I have been on lexapro for 8 months, and the funny thing is that I have been tired for the last year and a half everyday because I was on Geodon. I took myself off and now my doctor thinks I am crazy and wont listen to me that I might need something else, or more ativan.
Am I doing the right thing? What other anti-depressants might help me, but keep my anxiety away...i hate anxiety and i get it everyday.
Thank you...michael
