Here's a laugh for you ( maybe it is sad):
My shrink put me on keppra with absolute "knowledge" that it would ease anxiety and make me sleep at night...you know, to counteract wellbutrin's negative effects.....
As far as I can see, it has done neither. Maybe your doc was right or it is the old "we all react to medications differently" story.
Just thought it might give you a sense of the "a has" the way your post did me.
