The ventalin is generally used for asthma, I am not sure why he presrcibed it. It can perhaps make breathing a little less laboured.
You could try upping the remeron dose,
Another stradegy is to add a small dose of an SSRI to remeron. THe remeron should block all "jumping out of skin" feelings.
Your breathing is most likely fine. Unless there is something *physically* blocking your airway, what is the worst that can happen. You could pass out, in which case your brain *would* take over and resume breathing. Infact (from what I hear) your uncontious mind, might do a better job at it :)
Anyhow, I never heard that too much oxygen can prompt a panic attack, I always thought it was the opposite.
