Hello, I once took paxil for social anx. and it worked, but like you, I couldnt take the side effects and had to get off. I tried zoloft- nothing.....it didnt do anything. I now take 2 mg of xanax xr and that helps, but doesnt make me social, it just makes me not get panic attacks. But maybe your experiance will be different. You just have to go down the road of medication (trial and error)....Good Luck
