> Has anyone taken 90 mg of buspar and has it helped their depression? I am currently taken 60 mg. The pdoc says this is a low dose. She thinks buspar is worthless. Personally, I think it helps depression a bit, but not the anxiety. So, I was thinking about increasing the dosage to 90 mg with the Lexapro 10 mg/day. I hope it would help my depression and the sexual side affects of the lexapro.

I would rather increase the buspar. Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated.Hello, While buspar has not had the claim to fame which was hoped for some reports have been published that buspar may and can be a good adjunct to therapy. Regarding it as worthless is is rather cavalier, it has worked for some people. [Mainly as an adjunctive therapy]. Also, you know how you feel your pdoc may not if she has never experienced your condition. Regards, Micro
