do you mean l-tyrosine and s-tyrosine? These are the two optical enantiomers of tyrosine (that is, they are "the same" except that they are mirror images of each other--the two branches of the central carbon atom are switched.) Chemically, they behave very differently. l-tyrosine is an amino acid that makes up proteins, while s-tyrosine is toxic.
