Hanging on -
Give it a little more time . . . you will get there! From all the posters here, it seems to take an average of 4 - 6 weeks to feel evened out. Your body is still adjusting. Once it starts working, you will be better able to deal with all the pressures and stress. I find that troubles come in layers and the more I have, the more it hurts. But with this medication, my anxiety has diminished to the point that I can peel away some of the layers and don't feel quite so burdened by every little thing. That way, I can deal with the really big things and let go of the smaller, nagging things. You'll start seeing small changes in your abilities (like I finally had the mental energy to clean out under my bathroom sink or I finally cleaned out a particular file drawer at work). Sounds insignificant, but you'll start seeing these changes in a couple of weeks.
I hope this makes sense and helps a bit! Please don't give up, you just need a little more time. We're here for you!
