In all seriousness, there's a movement afoot where people are trashing their PCs, cell phones, PDAs and the like, and returning to communication technology of the 70s.
These folks are not necessarily addicted. They just feel overwhelmed and alienated by these new forms of communciation. As Kurt Vonnegut once replied when asked why he didn't use e-mail, "You can learn a lot standing in line at the post office."
