Hi Steve,

I had general feelings of anxiety or what could also be called restlessness or agitation both before I started taking Lex and for sometime shortly after taking the drug. I remember thinking that it seemed the general anxiety was getting worse rather than better. But now after I've been on Lex for about 6 weeks (5 mg for the first four, 10 mg for the last two) I definitely feel less of that anxiety/agitation feeling than when I was first taking Lex and less anxiety than before I started taking it as well.

I would say you should just be patient and give it more time. The SSRIs are funny that way - they seem to take 4-8 weeks or more before they have their full effect.

I don't know anything about the drug you're taking for sleeping.

Best of luck to you.

Bill
