Ann72:
As HappyGirl mention, WB is NOT an SSRI. Neither is Effexor. They both work in similar ways. I use the Effexor for depression and the WB for the sexual SE's of the Effexor XR. The WB also helps (a little) with my ADHD. I personnally cannot take Wellbutin alone: it makes me irritable. But, it's a good combo when taken to suplement the Effexor. YMMV.
Talk to your PDoc about the two to determine which is better in your particular case.
Regards and Good Luck!

> First off, Wellbutrin SR has 'motivation,' 'energy' along with 'concentration' effects. However, to be frank, if you've been having 'sleeping problem,' 'eating problem,' and 'seizure prone,' then this med. is NOT for you, because WB has 'stimulant' effect that gives you good effects stated above, however other negative sides of WB should keep in mind. Or, you need to take some med. or melatonine to counteract negative effects/insomnia caused by WB. Besides this, WB is NO-effect to 'Anxiety.'
> Those pros and cons mentioned above, ... you need to decide WB is suitable to your condition/symptoms.
> BTW, WB is not SSRIs' classification, ... other form of AD. The chemical of my brain seems not need to SSRI/seratonine effect, rather WB, NR or some other effects that work well for me.
