nocturnal seizures Prozac tongue chewing/swelling

Posted by Noni9 on January 9, 2004, at 11:40:28

Recently, I went back on Prozac after taking it for ten years, I went off for about three months. Now, that I'm back on, I wake up with teeth prints on my tongue, it appears swollen, and is very sore. My doctor's knee jerk reaction was "nocturnal seizures" maybe because I'm back on Prozac. Has anyone had this experience? I'm thinking of switching to effexor instead of Prozac for the depression side of bipolar disease. I also take Risperdal. Any thoughts?
