Also entering my third week still on 5 mg and about to go to 7.5 the nausea has gone when I take the med at night but I still dry heave badly in the shower every morning. Ever experience this anyone. I've read other postings about nausea being a side effect with Lexapro, but fortunately that particular one apparently proceeded with a light bounding step and skipped right over me, thank God.
About the song lyrics, I think you're right, maybe they've lessened ... or maybe I'm just getting use to it .. either way, I say yay.
By the way, I started on 10 mg's and am still there, and will probably stay there since it's helping the depression tremendously.Anyone care for a laugh? Don't throw eggs and I'll give you one...
Speaking of football [quiet out there] and the fact that all of us guys have TV-eyes from watching the playoffs and the college bowl games this weekend ... a university psychology professor had just given his students a lecture on manic depression. He pointed to one of their football team's linebackers sitting in his class and asked: "How would you diagnose a patient who walks back and forth screaming at the top of his lungs one minute, then sits in a chair weeping uncontrollably the next?"
The boy answered, "A football coach?"Take care all .. Bob
