Most of the side effects that cause serious discomfort go away after 2-3 weeks..by this I mean nausea, insomnia, high levels of agitation and restlessness, increased sweating...you being in day 12 you are probably at the height of your S/E's so hang in there a week from now you will probably feel much better..after the S/E's go away there is about a 2-3 week lull period where youre not feeling side effects anymore and the med hasnt fully kicked in yet so you may think "this isnt working"...but after about 8-9 weeks you should be able to see a noticeable improvement in the way you feel...what S/E's are you having?

> Having quite a few problems adjusting to Lexapro 10 mg as I have developed a huge range of side effects. Wanted to get some idea of how long it takes before side effects ease or dissapear. I am only on day 12 still; but it has been getting quite rough the last few days and I was hoping I could get some idea of what I was in for given others' experiences.
