Dexedrine will make you feel like shit all by itself. The higher you get from it (and you did get quite high it seems), the harder your withdrawal will be. Withdrawal lasts for weeks, gradually diminishing.
How long did you give the SSRIs to work? At least three months I hope. Otherwise you're not really giving them a chance. You might want to try Prozac -- it's a little on the speedy, rather than sleep-inducing -- side.
I take Lexapro, which makes me sleepy. I've found that if I just get my ass moving I'm actually okay and energetic. Also, I've found a plain ordinary "Stay Awake" pill (caffeine) gives me enough motivation to fight off the SSRI's mild sedative effects.
If Paxil doesn't do it for you, you might consider Lexapro with a caffeine chaser.
Good luck!
> Hello. I am a 29 year old male. I was on zoloft two years ago. It worked great. Then I was added dexadrine for my ADHD three months after that. I was absolutely unstoppable for about six months, then crashed hard.
> I have tried several differant antidepressants,(Paxilcr,Remeron,Effexorxr) And none of them had any positive effect on me. I am really at the end of my rope and need some advice on what might help. Thank you very much. ( I cannot take anything that might make me lethargic or sleepy, as I am having a hard time to motivate myself right now)I just want to find an antidepressant that actually helps. I feel like shit all the time and have no motivation or energy.
