Hi Fluffy:
Risperdal is one of AP meds, as we all know. Then, Risperdal has similar property/formularity to Zyprexa. Both meds. might have came to the market about the same period, ... just in my guess. Even, some of Bp saying,... Risperdal has more strong efficacy/effectiveness in comparison to Zyprexa.
However, you may take the newer AP med., such as Abilify and Geoden that has lesser side-effects and manufactured for that purpose, ... because some of M.I. people is intolerable to side effects like yours.
Friday is just one and a half days' away, .... in the meantime, according to your symptoms and side-effect, you could take even 1.25 mg. by cutting in half. At least, I did that at the start of taking Zyprexa due to sedation I experienced even during the day, from Zyprexa I consumed before going to the bed. Either way, it's wise to follow your pdoc.'s instruction tho'. Side-Effect like yours needs EXTRA cautious measure, ... even not taking Zyprexa at all might be a good idea rather than taking any risks on your neurological aspect. In that respect, I believe that you are all aware of.
Hopefully, everything works OK upon meeting with your pdoc. and get appropriate med. combo.
H.G.
