I'm so sorry to hear about what is happening to you. I'm not even to hazard a guess about what exactly the problem is. I'm just going to put in my two cents about Effexor and its effect on my marriage. I took Effexor for 4-5 months this spring/summer and it was great for a while. Reduced my anxiety and relaxed my inhibitions (I'm a very uptight person and this was very good for our intimate relationship.) This was a great relief to my husband to see me so relaxed and comfortable with myself. Unfortunately, the med caused severe insomnia and I went off it so I'm back to my prissy self once again. My husband says he wishes there was another that has the same good effects of Effexor without the insomnia. I do too.

P.S. Today is our 15th wedding anniversary.
